really kinda giggly and screechy over here…

Yes, this picture sent me into a fit of giggles. It’s a good thing since I thought the earth was about to swallow me whole. I’m inhaling paint fumes from downstairs, my head is KILLING me and everyone’s music is too LOUD.
Thankfully, I got a different kind of pain relief. That’s right. The Inbox saved my life. The March Heath Ceramics newsletter linked to a sneak peek of the 2010 Spring/Summer Collection. Colors are beautiful. Loving the process. Each piece is double dipped glazed by hand. The pieces are fun, bright and cheerful.
I think I see a present to myself in the very near future. The collection will be available April 1st.
Oh, my word. I can’t wait.

Oh, no. I hear him and his drums.

i was on a hella plane trip today back to nyc with a ‘precautionary’ stop in dc due to a leak in one of the engines. THIS came in my inbox on my iphone and it was like a ray of sunshine.
i thought of you too, ’cause i know you’re a heath lover like me. it’s exactly those 2 bowls that i fell in love with.
kindred…
Tigress…I hope you made it home safe&sound. Did you see all of the images in the gallery? Oh, I’m in love with the little zest yellow bud vase and dipped bulb vase. I want it all.
I’m so into the images of the process, too. Love the dip experiments. I took ceramics classes in high school and college. I’ve got to get my hands back into some clay.
I’m so glad you share the giddy over Heath. I thought of you the other day when I was watching Star Trek for the, aww heck, 4th time. There were some split toe boots that got me all Margiela misty.

i’m home safe. i did, i did see the photos and the process i love. yes i am in love with the vase too – all of it! i just purchased an aqua pitcher with a turquoise glaze inside when they did the 25% to Haiti – and now i see it with the mustard inside – oh no – i may need twins!
yes girl! get your hands back in some clay!
i know, the split toes – i can’t get my feet out of them.
